This document describes enhancements and corrections for School LINQ.

 

New Features

Reports: Ad Hoc - Employee Demographics

  • The Federal and State Add On fields will export to Excel when users export the report information.

  • If you are strictly a School Accounting user, the Add a Site feature will not be available. Please contact your LINQ Account Executive Margaret Eubank at 800-541-8999, if you would like to add more sites.

Reports: Account History

  • When multiple invoices are created for the same vendor and processed on a single payment to that vendor, Account Payable entries will not get duplicated on the expense account.

Accounts Payable

  • New! If you enter a duplicate invoice number for an employee while doing Employee Reimbursements, a message will display.

Reports: Vendor History

  • After the second partial payment is applied and the invoice closed, it will display as one line on the report, instead of duplicating lines

  • The error occurring causing the ACH Report to display the incorrect amount has been corrected.

Manage Employees: Jobs Tab

  • New! If the Use Multiple Time Zones check box ix check in Unit Setup, a Time Zone Settings section will also display on the Jobs tab. If this time zone is different than the one set in Unit Setup, this one will override that one.

    • This is in preparation of the future release of the timekeeping module—time zones do not need to be set at this time.

Unit Setup

  • New! A Time Zone Settings section has been added to the General Info tab.
    • This is in preparation of the future release of the timekeeping module—time zones do not need to be set at this time.

    • Time Zone information will be stored for each district to coordinate with the timekeeping Clock-in / Clock-out processes of the upcoming Employee Portal.

    • Each district will have a master Time Zone setting here in Unit Setup, with an override option on each site in Site Setup, and also one for each job on the Jobs tab on Manage Employees.

      • Users can check the Use Multiple Time Zones box if multiple time zones will be used at the site, or for the employee job.

      • Select a time zone option from the Default Time Zone drop-down list.

        • Eastern Standard Time
        • Central Time
        • Mountain Standard Time
        • Pacific Standard Time
